Our materialStep 1 of 5: Our material is Oeko-Tex verified. We mainly use materials made from bamboo, eucalyptus or other fast growing trees.
Batik and dyeingStep 2 of 5: Fabric rolls come to the dyeing family business and are dyed there mainly with natural dyes and batiked with traditional Balinese batik art. This is done without any time pressure and in a Balinese relaxed atmosphere. Andi and his family use cisterns to heat the water with solar energy. This sustainably heated water is used for all the dyeing, batik and washing processes.
Cutting and sewingCut 3 of 5: In the production facility, the batiked fabrics are cut and sewn. This family business also works under fair conditions and without time pressure. Now each piece gets its personal companion by hand, the little Buddha sewn on with needle and thread.
Plastic free packagingAfter quality control, each garment is packed in a fabric bag. A Balinese family collects the fabric scraps from large productions and sews a bag for each lilikoi garment.
Sustainable shipping with reusable cartonLast step: we use used cartons for online store shipping. #Reusable carton
